London, 8th July 2021 - Delta Capita has been awarded Silver status by EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted business sustainability ratings provider, placing us in the top 30% of companies performing similar activities.

EcoVadis assess the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions, and results in the areas of Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Assessments are made against 21 criteria, which are based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Compact Principles, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard, the ISO 26000 standard, and the CERES principles. This means that the focus of the assessment ranges from energy consumption to anti-corruption, career management to diversity.

Philip Freeborn, Group CIO and COO, and Executive Sponsor for Sustainability explained how ESG is a key strategic priority for Delta Capita. ‘As a global organisation, we recognise the impact we can have on our people, clients, communities and the planet we inhabit. This commitment sits at the heart of our DC Values, which inform how we work with our own people and right across our ecosystem. We are pleased to see our efforts recognised by EcoVadis. Equally, our focus is always on how we can improve our performance. The assessment has given us some clear actions, which we are integrating into the existing plans developed with our Global Sustainability Group. We understand that intent needs to be backed up by action, so we benefit from having a committed network of colleagues to support us in progressing these business-critical priorities.’
